Universal Typeface Experiment
BIC’s “Universal Typeface Experiment”

BIC has introduced a collaborative Web project designed to find the average letter shapes drawn by human hands. You can contribute to the project by accessing it on a mobile device. Using the touchscreen to draw characters, you can connect the browser on your device to the browser on your desktop. Letters drawn on your mobile device will be submitted to Bic’s database. The site also examines and displays characters based on age, handedness, country, gender or industry.
